Metro
Service
Metro will open
at 5 A.M. on race day. The race starts at 7:40
A.M. We encourage everyone to use Metro. You can
take the Metro (Blue and Orange lines) to the Smithsonian
stop,
which is .25 mile from the new staging area on the Washington Monument Grounds.
Other possible stops include L’Enfant Plaza (Blue, Orange, Green and Yellow
Lines), about .8 of a mile from the start; Metro Center (Red, Orange and Blue
lines), about .9 of a mile from the start; or Archives (Green and Yellow lines),
about .9 of a mile from the start. Due to the proximity of the Smithsonian stop,
there will be no shuttle bus service for Metro users this year.

Walk from the Headquarters Hotel
The host hotel is the Grand
Hyatt Washington, 1000 H Street NW,
Washington DC 20001. The hotel is within walking
distance of the race start.
Driving
The best place to park is on the north side of
Constitution Ave.NW or East of 7th St. There will be no parking in East or West
Potomac Parks.
Bicycle
Valet Service
There will be a bike valet
available at 14th and Independence Ave., SW. You may check your
bike with race volunteers starting at 6:00 A.M. and retrieve it after the race,
or leave it and enjoy the cherry blossoms, then retrieve it later in the day
from National Park Service volunteers, who will staff the valet after 10:00 A.M.
Do not lock bicycles to any of the race barricades or the locks will be
cut off or the bicycles will be stored with the barricades until next spring.
