I
still haven't gotten my runner instructions in the email, nor did I
receive an email confirming my entry and giving me my bib number.
Runner Instructions, which include your
confirmation, were emailed to all accepted entrants in mid-March.
If you have not received or have misplaced your confirmation email that
gives you your basic runner information, bib number, t-shirt status, and medal
status, you can generate a replacement by visiting http://www.cherryblossom.org/confirmation.htm.
You will need to provide some
security information which will enable you to generate your confirmation so you
can print it out and bring it to packet pick-up.
Can
I cancel my registration and get a refund, or transfer my number to
another runner?
As outlined in the registration information, there are no cancellations, transfers or refunds. You, or a designee with a note
(or email) from you and an ID for himself or herself, may pick up your t-shirt and you will be included on the notification list for the
2011 race.
I
just got injured, and can't run. Can I cancel my registration in that
case? At this late date we
cannot accommodate any cancellations or deferments due to injury.
I
am going to run without a number or transfer my number anyway. If we run out of water at the aid stations, food at the finish line, or we are prohibited from using the course in the future by the National Park Service due to exceeding the numbers allowed in our permit, you will know that you played a part in diminishing the event for everyone. Our policy about refunds and transfers was clearly stated on all of the entry materials and you accepted the no refund policy when you signed the waiver. If you did
not wish to abide by our terms for participation, then you should not have entered the race.
I
can't run the race. Can I get my t-shirt mailed to me?
If you are registered but do not pick up your T-shirt or upgrade shirt, you may have it mailed to you after race day for $6. Sizes will be limited to whatever stock is left after race day. There are no refunds for unclaimed shirts. To request this mailing service, send a letter, enclosing this form and a copy of the page of these instructions with your address with the mailing label intact, and a check for $6 (payable to Cherry Blossom, Inc.) to: Cherry Blossom T-Shirt, P.O. Box 5366 Rockville, MD 20848. Requests must be postmarked by May 1.
I
can't make it to the Packet Pickup. Can a friend pick up my number
for me? Yes, a designee with a note
(or email) from you and an ID for himself or herself, may pick up your
number, D-Tag, and t-shirt.
The
Confirmation Instructions say I have to come at a particular time, based
on the first letter of my last name, to pick up my number. If I can't
make it then, can I pick up at a different time? Yes.
The schedule based on your last name is only recommended to ease the
traffic flow at packet pickup. If you can't come at your assigned time,
you may come pick up your number at any time that packet pickup is open.
