In-Person On-Site Training Program

Potomac River RunningWhether your goal is to finish the race, or to finish faster than you ever have before, prepare to do your best with a coach's guidance and fellow runners to help keep you motivated.  AND, you'll get some great New Balance gear along the way!

The program s brought to you in partnership with New Balance and the PR Training Programs. Training sites include Ashburn, DC (in Georgetown at 33rd and the waterfront/K Street under Whitehurst Freeway), Reston, and Rockville (training at various Montgomery County parks/trails).

The program will kick off the weekend of January 25-26.  The program includes weekly group weekend morning runs and optional weekday group runs and/or workouts.  You will receive a 10-week schedule based on your background/race goal which includes guidance on what to do on days you are not meeting with the group.  On-site coaches will answer your questions and keep you excited and motivated as they guide you toward your race goal.

The $99 program cost includes an awesome LS premium from New Balance (past premiums have included LS shirts, half-zips, and jackets -- different sites/participants may receive different cool stuff!) and other great incentives/deals from NB. You also receive the 10-week training plan, weekly group runs, access to group track workouts, special sales and promotions, and more.  All that GREAT GEAR effectively offsets the program cost, so it's like you get to train for free! (Note that we've made this program 10 weeks because we EXPECT that there may be some weather-related cancellations, and have built in some extra prep time just in case!)
