The Credit Union Cherry Blossom is offering two training programs and an educational seminar series to get everyone ready to run a satisfying 10 miles on April 8, 2018 – whether your goal is breaking one hour or two hours.

Our In-Person Training Program is hosted by PR Training.

Whether your goal is to finish the race, or to finish faster than you ever have before, prepare to do your best with a coach's guidance and fellow runners to help keep you motivated.

The program is brought to you in partnership with  =PR= Training Programs. Training sites include Arlington/DC (time split in Georgetown (at K Street under Whitehurst Freeway) and in Rosslyn); Reston; and Vienna.

The program will kick off in late January and culminates with the race! It includes weekly group weekend morning runs and the option to add weekday speed workouts.

You will receive a 10-week schedule based on your background/race goal, which includes guidance on what to do on days you are not meeting with the group. On-site coaches will answer your questions and keep you excited and motivated as they guide you toward your race goal, and also communicate with you via email each week to keep you engaged.

Note that the PREMIUM training includes a race bib, so you don't even need to participate in the lottery.

Standard Program $105
Premium Program $145 which includes a guaranteed FREE entry into the race as well as the in-person training program

Our free Virtual Training Program presented by Under Armour

Developed by Coach Kirt West, our Virtual Training program offers three levels -- beginning, intermediate, and advanced. The 10-week program, which has helped thousands of runners prepare for the 10 mile over the years, starts on Monday, January 29. Participants in the Virtual Training program will receive a daily email with a suggested workout for that day plus a weekly overview. You can sign up for this program when you register for the race, or by visiting the Virtual Training informational page at the link below. Registration closes on January 31, 2018, however runners already enrolled will be able to switch from one level to another.
