Credit Union Miracle Day (CUMD) is a consortium of Credit Unions, Credit Union suppliers, and Credit Union supporters from across the country. CUMD serves as the title sponsor of the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run. The proceeds from the event support Children’s Hospitals that belong to the Children’s Miracle Network, a non-profit international organization that helps to treat millions of children across the U.S. and Canada. Over $8 million dollars has been donated to the Children’s Miracle Network since Credit Union Miracle Day became the title sponsor of the event in 2002.
Each year, the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run in Washington, D.C. brings together credit unions from across the country with a shared vision of fund raising and helping children. The Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) is a non-profit international organization that helps to treat millions of children across the U.S. and Canada.
Nationwide, credit unions are the 3rd largest fundraisers for CMN Hospitals further demonstrating their strong commitment to their communities and underscoring the positive impact that credit unions make to consumers – that’s part of “the credit union difference”!

ASICS was founded in 1949 by Kihachiro Onitsuka in Kobe, Japan. Following World War II, Onitsuka-san searched for a way to provide hope to children in war-torn Japan.
