Credit Union Miracle Day (CUMD) is a consortium of Credit Unions, Credit Union suppliers, and Credit Union supporters from across the country. CUMD serves as the title sponsor of the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run. The proceeds from the event support Children’s Hospitals that belong to the Children’s Miracle Network, a non-profit international organization that helps to treat millions of children across the U.S. and Canada. Over $8 million dollars has been donated to the Children’s Miracle Network since Credit Union Miracle Day became the title sponsor of the event in 2002.

Each year, the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run in Washington, D.C. brings together credit unions from across the country with a shared vision of fund raising and helping children. The proceeds from this event support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. The Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) is a non-profit international organization that helps to treat millions of children across the U.S. and Canada.

Nationwide, credit unions are the 3rd largest fundraisers for CMN Hospitals further demonstrating their strong commitment to their communities and underscoring the positive impact that credit unions make to consumers – that’s part of “the credit union difference”!

Credit unions save their members who bank with them an average of $184 annually and help consumers reach their financial dreams faster.  With 113 million members, they have the scale, services and cutting-edge products needed for consumers like you and your family to succeed. By returning earning back to members through higher rates on savings accounts and lower rates on loans, credit unions are the best financial partners for life for all Americans.

ASICS was founded in 1949 by Kihachiro Onitsuka in Kobe, Japan. Following World War II, Onitsuka-san searched for a way to provide hope to children in war-torn Japan. He set out to find work that was both difficult and rewarding, ultimately settling on making shoes. His goal was to inspire children; showing that hard work, positivity and movement meant anything was possible.

He started by making basketball shoes because at the time, they were regarded as the most difficult footwear to manufacture. He believed that if he could make basketball shoes, he could make anything.  Shortly after the creation of the company, the ‘OK Basketball’ was completed, and ASICS was off and running.

At ASICS, we believe that through movement, whether that is running, hiking, playing tennis or walking people benefit from the power of sport on the body and on the mind. For over 70 years, ASICS has been a performance brand. This company was built on the belief that movement was a means to build health and happiness in both mind and body – Sound Mind, Sound Body has always believed in the positive impact of sport and movement on the mind.

At our core, this is what guides us from product innovations based on human-centric science to charitable partnerships, this philosophy continues to ring true in every aspect of the brand today.

The regeneration of the planet is at the heart of the Guayakí business model. Every time you purchase Guayakí Yerba Mate, you’re creating a positive global impact. We call it Market Driven Regeneration, and it’s the driving force behind everything we do. How so? We support the human rights of the producers we source from, communities where we work and the customers who sustain us. We also take responsibility for our footprint and support the regeneration of priority ecosystems we source from.

Yerba mate comes from the naturally caffeinated leaves of a native species of holly tree, Ilex paraguariensis, sourced from the South American Atlantic Rainforest. Yerba mate leaves are then sustainably harvested, the leaves are dried and ground, and then brewed with hot water. Our High Energy Cans are a blend of brewed yerba mate and organic fruit juice. Enjoy and Come to Life!
