The Credit Union Cherry Blossom Hall of Fame was created in 2023 in commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the race. The Hall of Fame nominees are all people who had made significant contributions to the Cherry Blossom 10 Mile at any time over the last 52 years since the race began, either as a competitor, a supporter, a staff member, a committee member, a media member, a sponsor or through some other association with the race.

Three individuals were inducted into the inaugural class on April 7, 2024:

Phil Stewart, Co-Race Director, 1989-1990; Race Director 1991-Present
Bill Brooks, Credit Union Miracle Day Board Member
Ed Murray, Former Co-Race Director, 1974-1982

Procedures for Nominations

Nominations are now being accepted for 2025 inductees.

Who is Eligible: Any individual who has made major contributions to the event, either as a competitor, a supporter, a staff member, a committee member, a media member, a sponsor or through some other association with the race. Posthumous nominees are accepted. Past inductees are not eligible (see below for all past inductees).

Nomination Deadline: Deadline for nominations is March 2, 2025.

Inductees Announced: The inductees will be announced at the Saturday night of race weekend VIP-Sponsor-Elite Athlete dinner.
