ASICS Advanced Training

Kirt West Advanced Training Program Presented by ASICS

This free ten-week email training program, which begins on Monday, January 31, 2022, is designed for serious runners who average at least 20-25 miles per week and who do a weekly long run. Runners signing up for this program should be experienced at race distances of 5K and beyond. The Advanced Program calls for running 5-7 days per week with two speed workouts each week. The daily workouts will be described in terms of ranges to allow for each runner to modify the schedule based on the runner’s current level of training. The Advanced Program will also incorporate a couple of tune-up races prior to the 10 Miler.
