About Packet Pick-up and the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Health and Fitness Expo Presented by Wegmans
The 2025 Health and Fitness Expo Presented by Wegmans will offer packet pick-up, a full slate of exhibitors, and a full lineup of Seminar speakers inside the National Building Museum.
What’s Inside
Pick up your race packet and t-shirt at the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Health and Fitness Expo Presented by Wegmans on Friday, April 4 (10 Mile, Double Blossom, 5K and Kids Run) or Saturday, April 5 for the 10 Mile (reminder: there is no packet pickup on race day for the 10 Mile). The Health and Fitness Expo will also feature the latest shoes and gear from Asics and other vendors to fill all your running gear needs, and a chance to pick up official Credit Union Cherry Blossom apparel and merchandise. Race packet pick-up is only for confirmed entrants, although non-participants are invited to attend the Health and Fitness Expo Presented by Wegmans. There is no late registration, and NO PACKET PICKUP ON RACE DAY for the 10 Mile (April 6). There will be Packet Pick-up for the 5K and Bib Pickup for the Double Blossom* at Freedom Plaza on race morning (April 5).
*Note for Double Blossom Runners: If you pick up your packet at the National Building Museum on Friday, April 4, you will be able to pick up your Double Blossom bib (you will wear the same bib for both races) and whatever t-shirt(s) you ordered at the same time. If you wait and pick up your packet at the 5K staging area on Saturday, April 5, you will only be able to pick up your Double Blossom bib and if you did not upgrade your shirt, your 10 Mile/5K cotton t-shirt. If you ordered an upgrade shirt for the Double Blossom (or a 10 Mile or 5K upgrade shirt), you will have to go to the Health & Fitness Expo after the 5K on Saturday to pick up any upgrade shirts your ordered – there will be no upgrade shirts for Double Blossom runners at Freedom Plaza. All Double Blossom finisher medals will be distributed at the finish area of the 10 Mile on Sunday, April 6.
Note: To ease traffic flow, please note that there will be two entrances to the Building Museum this year – the F Street entrance should be used by 10 Mile participants and Volunteers, while the G Street entrance is for 5K, Kids Run and Double Blossom participants. There will be signage and people to direct you to the proper entrance for the packet you are picking up. If you are running the 10 Mile and have a child running the Kids Run, you can use either entrance (if you go to the F Street entrance, get your 10 Mile packet first, then follow the signage to the Kids Run packet pickup; if you go to the G Street entrance, pick up the Kids Run packet first, then proceed to the 10 Mile packet pickup).
The links below will show you which door of the National Building Museum you should use depending on which race you are running (Expo Flow Map (Outside NBM)) and where to go once you are inside the National Building Museum (Expo Flow Map (Inside NBM)).
What Is the Best Time to Go the Expo?

Donate Your Used Running Shoes at the Expo
In the U.S., 200 million pairs of shoes and sneakers end up in landfills each year. They languish there for 30-40 years before decomposing, and emit harmful chemicals into the soil and air in the process. We will be bringing back our popular shoe donation program this year to help your shoes avoid this fate. Just bring your running shoes with you to packet pick up and drop them off at our shoe donation booth at the Expo. From there, our partner Potomac River Running will give them a new life through GotSneakers. Please note that shoe recycling will be available at the Expo only, not on site at the 5K or 10 Mile.
Getting There
By Metro
Metro will be open for getting to the Expo on Saturday. The National Building Museum is easily accessible by Metro. The Judiciary Square Metro stop is across the street from the main entrance to the National Building Museum and is served by the Red Line. Use of Metro is strongly encouraged.
Bike Valet Service
As part of our greening initiative we are providing a free “Bike Valet” service at the Health & Fitness Expo through Two Wheel Valet. Simply ride your bike to the expo and leave it with the representatives from Two Wheel Valet (click here if you would like to make a reservation). They will guard your bike to ensure that it is safe while you pick-up your bib, shop our vendors and enjoy the festivities. It’s like a coat check for bikes! The bike valet parking is located on the east lawn (4th St. side) of the National Building Museum. Two Wheel Valet will be open at the National Building Museum from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Friday, April 4; and from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm on Saturday, April 5.
Parking
There is limited on-street parking in the vicinity of the National Building Museum. Available parking will be influenced greatly by other activities taking place nearby (the Verizon Center is very close). Parking meters are enforced on both Friday and Saturday (at rates up to $2.00 an hour), so bring lots of quarters if you plan to use on-street parking.
Reserve Parking with SpotHero
We recommend booking convenient and affordable parking in advance through SpotHero, the nation’s leading parking reservations app.
To reserve your parking spot, click Find Parking below for the date you plan to go to the Expo and book a spot with rates up to 50% off drive-up.
Paid parking may also be available in other nearby commercial parking lots. Rates are likely to be in the $15-$20 range. Be sure to check the hours of the commercial lots. Some of them close early. Think Metro.
