Please Hold the Confetti

Last year some of our more exuberant spectators showered confetti on runners late in the course creating a nightmare for our friends at the National Park Service in cleaning up the park. Please remember that all of us are guests in the National Mall and Memorial Parks so we need to leave it as we found it. Signs and sounds are great ways for your fans to express themselves; tiny bits of paper that are challenging to sweep up are not.
